Maybe it’s my mood, although I am feeling pretty chirpy, but this week’s album releases all look like arse. There’s something to dislike about almost everyone. In fact the only two I do really like is the new Steve Earle album as seen above and

the Red Light Company album Fine Fascination. It reminds me of the early 90s album covers by bands like the Smashing Pumpkins. The graininess and the subject matter are both engaging and endearing. It also shows a bit of nipple  </sexism>.

I could sneakily place the David Byrne & Bryan Eno album in here but that was released a while ago…however the vinyl is out today. If my super special so great it’ll melt my face version ever arrives I’ll do a post about that.
