Beatles: Rockband long format advert (and game intro)

This is a beautiful piece of animation. Essentially tracking the Beatles career (all 10 years shorter than you think eh?) the animation progresses, becoming increasingly more psychedelic as the music does so (although not quite chronologically correct). Hands down one of the best animated shorts I’ve ever seen. It almost makes me want to buy the game.

Voluntary Butler Scheme – Multiplayer Video

I love the simple concepts behind this video and the competence with which that idea was brought through to the end product. It was created and directed by Simon Deshon with friends helping out with the animation process. The Voluntary Butler Scheme are also incredibly good and they’ll be releasing the single Multiplayer on March 2nd. Their myspace is here.
